Born in 1976, Deepak Ambuj is M.F.A in painting from JMI. He was granted the Junior Research Fellowship by the University Grants Commission and bagged the All India Art Exhibition Award from AIFACS. His selected participation includes the Nokia Art Asia Pacific Exhibition, Annual Art Exhibition of Dhoomimal Art Gallery, Lokayata Art Gallery, Shridharani Gallery of the Triveni Kala Sangam, Delhi, Studio Vasant-Delhi, India Habitat Centre-Delhi, America Defeat by Korea for one Day at Art Konsult New Delhi, Shadow and Substance Urushwati Art Gallery. His work formed part of the 49th National Exhibition of Art of the Lalit Kala Akademi. His works can be seen as part of the collection of Management Development Institute, Gurgoan, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi Tourism, Art Terrace, Indian Army. His work is part of collections in Japan, Germany, Austria and Mauritius. He is presently doing Ph.D(Fine Art) from Delhi University.
